Our Coefficient of Inbreeding is calculated to the maximum number of generations we have for this dog.

The AVK is the Ancestor Loss Coefficient and it measures how many ancestors occur multiple times in 6 generations for this dog.
The higher the AVK, the more unique ancestors in the pedigree, the lower the AVK the more repeated ancestors.

If you can fill in any gaps in pedigrees please let us have details. We are especially looking for any pedigrees you may have for the early imports and their ancestors.
You can scan or photograph and then email to Linda Mayne.

My notes start with Brown Girl In The Ring. And she certainly was, loved everything about her, lovely head with pronounced occiput, typical proportions in balance with her muzzle and depth to for face, with a good mouth and nose, moderate, strong neck into shoulders of good length and lay back, with the required width between blades, fitting neatly followed by a strong body of good depth and width, straight oval bone to front legs and a typical top line with plenty of strength to her broad hind quarters, carrying a tight jacket of course hair, with front and back feet of correct shape and size being thickly padded. She moved with a powerful gait keeping the correct top line covering the ground without fuss or effort. BOB

lovely feminine b/r bitch, slightly longer cast than 1. Beautiful head with excellent divergence and balanced all through. Occiput pronounced and well defined. Good strong neck into laid back shoulders, well angled and open with good length of upper arm, well bodied with ribs well back minimal tuck up. Coat and skin of good texture. Good width across the 2nd thigh and croup set on well with correct tail placement. Just needs to tighten slightly in pasterns to complete the picture. Moved freely with correctly placed footfall.
