Thank you to the officers and committee for the opportunity to judge and to the exhibitors for the lovely entry and good sportsmanship. On the day the bitches were stronger and both limit and open classes were very strong. Movement is still an issue and lack of angulation both fore and aft leading to untypical movement in some exhibits. Some untypical toplines especially in dogs. Also weak pasterns creeping in too and this needs to be watched. However lots of promising youngsters coming through.

1st		Rossetti at Stowledge	Bevan & Thompson	7 month w/o boy who is quite mature for his age. This boy excels in breed type from his typical head with a long lean skull of equal proportions and correct divergence. Lovely shape and colour to his eye for a youngster. Good front assembly with good length to upper arm and stood on good oval bone. Strong forechest for his age with pronounced sternum. Skin good and thick, square in outline and good width across his 2nd thigh. Moved freely with a lovely tick tock tail action. Pleased to award him Best puppy and considered for RCC. Will watch him with interest.

1st		Berducci at Stowledge	Bevan & Thompson	7 month w/o boy brother to my minor puppy winner. The same qualities apply with lovely balance through his skull. Body shape similar to 1 and same comments apply, just preferred the front angles of his brother at this stage but sure they will change places many times. Another who moved freely with a lovely trotting action. Both very exciting prospects for the breed, another to watch for the future.

1st		Quebaikei Tartan N Tweed	Burrows	Brown boy well off for size. Lovely head and expression and balanced through the skull, would prefer more rise to the occiput. Stood on good feet with good bone, slightly steep front assembly. Nice width across the rear thigh and croup set on correctly. Nice and easy on the move with a lovely free movement.

1st		Ellisbell Piaggio	Glazik	w/o male maturing nicely. Lovely head and expression with good eye colour, good divergence and a good deep muzzle. Strong neck with the correct prominent crest into good body with deep chest and ribs back and well sprung. Good coat with thick skin and of good texture. Developed in 2nd thigh and well muscled. Moved well with a pounding trot, a little fond of his tail today which spoils his overall outline. RCC
2nd		Inostricani On a Mission	Hinton	w/o male just out of junior, lovely square shape boy, head of good shape but would prefer more work through his skull, good deep muzzle, lovely eye shape and colour. Stood on strong bone with good feet nicely fitting. Good thick skin and ribs well back, still lots of developing to do, another one carrying his tail on the move.

1st		Gradevole Strufolli	Robinson	Lovely brown roan boy still lots of maturing to do but could not be overlooked today. Beautiful head balanced through with correct ratio of skull to muzzle with good divergence. Strong and short in neck with pronounced crest. Stood on good oval bone with nice tight feet. Chest deep but still some developing to do. Body shape square when stood and topline breaks at correct point, croup sloping and good width to 2nd thigh. Moved well at ease with his handler. Dog CC was pleased to hear this is his crowning 3rd well deserved.
2nd		Montecani Youre My Only Hope	Davies	Another lovely boy, fits the square nicely and fills the eye. Head well balanced with good divergence and strong muzzle, lovely large spongy nose. Excels in bone and stands on large feet. Nice short strong neck into good body with ribs well back, correct topline, good width across his 2nd thigh, croup gently sloping. Would prefer more length to his upper arm to complete the picture. Moved out well with a lovely pounding trot.

1st		Sh Ch Inostricani Bell Ragazzo via Krismoor (JW)	Littlemore	mature w/o male, slightly longer cast. Pleasing head, eye of correct shape and colour, lovely expression. Good forechest with pronounced sternum, stood on strong feet with good oval bone. Ribs well sprung and back, into good hindquarters with plenty width across his 2nd thigh, croup slightly sloping with tail set on well. Good thick skin and harsh coat. Moved out well with good footfall, at ease with the handler. Would like to see a better topline to complete the picture but overall a nice boy.
2nd		Testaverde Rugero Raimondi	Saynor	b/r male good shape fits the square, lovely head with good divergence, pleasing eye of good shape and colour, strong neck into good shoulders well angled, ribs not as good as one and still needs some development in frontal area. Good topline with correct break sloping into nicely rounded croup. Moved well with good extension fore and back.

1st		Ellisbell Mr Sandman	Glazik	Nearly 9 years w/o, slightly longer cast but pleasing head with good divergence, would like a little more rise to occiput to complete the picture. Eye of good colour with typical soft expression. Good frontal assembly with pronounced sternum, good length of upper arm and open shoulders. Ribs well back, skin good and coat of correct texture. Moved out like a youngster which was lovely to see that he was enjoying his day.

1st		Lajatico Biagio	Lancaster	b/r youngster of good size, pleasing head with good planes, eye of good shape and colour, needs to develop in chest but has time for this as still young. Body slightly longer cast . Would like a thicker skin and coat to complete the picture. Well muscled and moved well considering it was first time in the ring for him and his handler so well done.

Stood square and filled the eye, strong neck with lovely crest into a good front assembly with open shoulders and length to upper arm. Topline correct with break in correct place, lovely broad rump with tail set on well. Came alive on the move with her lovely trotting action with correct footfall. Tick tock tail action she was a pleasure to watch. Best Puppy Bitch
2nd		Scodinzolare Paola del Feriiia	Hastings	7 month w/o bitch another promising puppy. Good head with nice divergence, good rise to occiput, eye of correct shape just needs to darken but will come with age. Stood square on good feet, good bone. Good angles both fore and aft with width across the 2nd thigh. Coat needs tidying a bit to complete the picture. Moved well but not the free movement of 1st.

1st		Montecani Twist By the River	Cresswell	Another lovely youngster, well balanced through the skull with correct skull to muzzle ration. Lovely eye of good shape and colour. Stood square with good front angulation, shoulders open and good length to upper arm. Correct through topline to gently sloping croup. Good rear angles with width across the 2nd thigh. Moved out well with good trotting action.
2nd		Connomar Sciacca	Woodward	Nice youngster, pleasing through the skull with good divergence, eye of good colour and shape. Strong neck into good frontal assembly. Ribs well rounded and back. Skin thick and coat of good texture. Good rear angles and nicely rounded rump. Moved out well but not as free as 1st

1st		Lajatico Bobini	Wain	Lovely youngster, very old fashioned type. Head long and lean with good planes, muzzle deep, eyes of correct shape and colour giving a lovely expression. Stood square on good feet with ample bone. Good neck into pleasing body and minimal tuck up. Good width of thigh, croup and tail carriage correct. Moved out well. Loved her colour too one of the rare monks habit browns not seen much. Very pleasing on the eye.
2nd		Testaverde Brass and Boodle	Hibbs	another nice youngster. Well balanced through the skull with good divergence, lovely eye with melting expression. Good frontal assembly with open shoulders, ribs well back. Still needs to develop in rear but that will come with age. Moved freely at ease with her handler.

1st		Inostricani Sky's the Limit at Milisimo	Sandy	what a lovely youngster, filled the eye with her lovely square outline. Lovely head of equal skull to muzzle ratio, pronounced through the occiput. Good frontal assembly. Strong neck into well developed body for her age, ribs sprung and well back into moderate loin. Correct topline with break at 11th vertebrae. Croup well rounded. To complete the picture I would like more bone and the handler needs to slow down on the move so she can fulfil her true potential. Liked her a lot.
2nd		Scodinzolare Photoulla	Mortimer	b/r bitch, pleasing head with good planes balanced all through. Slightly longer cast than my winner. Overall a nice bitch well bodied with ribs well back into the loin. Needs to develop in the rear to complete the picture. Moved out well but slightly close behind today.

1st		Amberellie Rosanna	Kruglow	Lovely feminine w/o bitch rustic and squarely built. Lovely head with good divergence. Eye shape and colour correct with beautiful expression that screams Spinone. Strong neck with pronounced crest into good frontal assembly. Good length to the upper arm and strong chest with pronounced deep sternum. Good bone standing on strong feet. Well bodied with ribs well back, minimal tuckup. Good thick skin and coat. Moved well holding her tail carriage on the move. Liked her a lot.
2nd		Diggmere Gignese	Mcgregor	lovely feminine b/r bitch, slightly longer cast than 1. Beautiful head with excellent divergence and balanced all through. Occiput pronounced and well defined. Good strong neck into laid back shoulders, well angled and open with good length of upper arm, well bodied with ribs well back minimal tuck up. Coat and skin of good texture. Good width across the 2nd thigh and croup set on well with correct tail placement. Just needs to tighten slightly in pasterns to complete the picture. Moved freely with correctly placed footfall.

1st		Sh Ch Kevardhu Life of Rylea	Longstaff	Could not deny this bitch today she just said look at me. Totally fills the eye and is everything a Spinone should be. Beautiful through the skull so balanced with correct divergence, lovely eyes of correct shape and colour. Strong neck with parietal crest into lovely front assembly, well open shoulder blades and good length of upper arm. Stood 4 square on strong legs with good oval bone. Ribs well back into loin, minimal tuck up. Topline sloping from withers with break at 11th vertebrae then up to strong rounded rump with tail set on correctly. Excellent thick skin and coat of good texture. Moved out well and true with a lovely tick tock tail action rarely seen. Was pleased to award her the CC & BOB. Sure there will be more to come for her.
2nd		Sh Ch Montecani My Precious	Munday & Spalding	w/o bitch of lovely square shape, ultra Italian head long and lean with good balance of skull to muzzle ratio. Occiput pronounced, beautiful ochre eyes of correct shape. Strong neck with crest into a strong frame well bodied with good thick skin. Slightly out of coat at moment but didn’t retract from the overall picture. Ribs well back and well sprung. Filled the eye with her square outline. Good croup set on well. Enough width across the thigh to complete the picture. To be hypercritical I would like more length of upper arm to complete the picture. Moved well but not the free movement of 1. RCC.

Strong neck with parietal crest into excellent front assembly, good length of upper arm and open shoulders which allows her effortless fast trotting movement. Good body with ribs well back, topline correct with break at 11th vertebrae rising into correct croup and good rump. Tail set on well and carried well on the move. Good rear angles. Her movement is a joy to watch. Best Veteran
2nd		Sh Ch Teazledown Aphrodite	Bruce	Unlucky to meet one today. A beautiful type heavier cast than my winner. Lovely head with correct divergence and eyes of correct ochre colour giving that melting expression. Strong neck into good open shoulders, would like more upper arm to complete the picture. Well bodied with minimal tuck up and topline correct and breaking at right point. Lovely square shape which fills your eye. Didn’t seem happy on the move today.
